Pollyanna Moody's holistic teaching combines exercises for the body, mind and soul. She has taught music for almost 30 years. In 1996 Pollyanna founded the Hancock Music Studio where she teaches Voice, Piano and Bodymapping. The studio serves students from ages 4-99. In addition to teaching at the Hancock Music Studio, Professor Moody teaches 1:1 lessons at Portland Community College where she regularly sells out her class offerings. For over 15 years she was part of the Marylhurst University music faculty and she taught as adjunct music faculty at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus.
Pollyanna Moody, soprano, has sung with with Light Opera of Portland, Fireside Carolers, and Portland Phoenix Choirs Theatrical Performers. She has been a featured soloist with many groups, including members of the Oregon Symphony, Vivace Voices, the Oregon Repertory Singers and Marylhurst Choral Union. She also offers a Group Vocal Class at Portland Community College SE Campus. Pollyanna is the choir director for the Sunnyside Adventist Choir. She is the former artistic director for the Cantatapacifica choir. She received her Masters in Vocal Performance from Portland State University.
